Cannabis Marketing in New Mexico From the Owner

Marketing as far as in the most traditional sense… You know, I’m still learning frankly because it is so challenging and seems to change daily you know in terms of what the algorithms of META is today vs. yesterday vs. what we think it’s going to be tomorrow and the interpretations therein, as we all know in this community are seemingly kind of undefinable in terms of in practice so it’s always like anytime we make a post it’s like “Oh. We’ll see what happens.”

So for me as far as marketing goes — especially since we are such a mission-driven, purpose driven company that requires communication. We have a story to tell and we certainly have knowledge that we hope to build within the local marketplace, and that takes time. And that takes money.  And that certainly takes effort. so I don’t have any sort of magic wand on this one and in fact I’m kind of getting back to the basics. Back to my roots, back to when I started out in this; you know, when I started my profession thirty years ago. Go with folks who are grass roots. Really not forgetting how important your team is, your vendors are, their sharing and talking  about CloudWalker. Certainly event based. And the reason I kind of pressed hard on social just now is of course because that’s what social is designed to support as far as a relatively modern tool, but with so many shackles it’s challenging.  With social, I guess looking at the glass half-full, we’re using it as very much a tool for conversation and story making, which at its core is what it’s all about.  So to put it another way, I don’t know if anyone is following us and hopefully if anyone’s not, after hearing this they will. Find us at: Instagram @CloudWalkerFarm Facebook, @CloudWalkerFarm

We’ve enjoyed benefits using social. Again, more story-telling, less product.  We’ve put our gummies — we’ve put our Gomitas up a few times because we’re certainly proud of them.  But more often than not we’re just sort of talking about “how are you feeling?”, quoting some music lyrics, you know, and having fun that way. And I’m proud to say we’ve amassed quite a community on Instagram in less than three months. I think we’re at twelve, thirteen hundred which feels good, and feels like a validating proof of concept.

Podcasting is also a new format that works well for us. We’ve got a big story to tell and we want to have that conversation, and so we certainly want to be able to connect with people and right now podcasts are certainly one of the most interesting ways and most robust ways of accomplishing that.
