From the Beauty Industry to the Cannabis Industry<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Originally I came from a couple of acequias up north of here in Pojaque, so born and raised here in Santa Fe and very proud of that. And though I\u2019ve lived abroad\u00a0 for many decades this has always been my spirit home if you will (not to get to woo) and kind of my source. And so I\u2019ve always enjoyed coming back here, and then had the opportunity of returning to my home state with my most recent company before CloudWalker Farm<\/strong><\/a> which was Well People which was and still is a pioneer in the clean, clean beauty space.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I then leapt to marijuana. I don\u2019t know if that makes a lot of sense, but, to me it totally does.  My background is in business and marketing so you know, as a kind of a proper idea guy I\u2019m always listening to the marketplace, to the consumer, looking at potential areas of opportunity. About twenty years ago at this point I was doing some insights, research, and brand planning for Whole Foods, and specifically their whole body division. And to make a long story short, it was in the context of that and getting to interview and get to know a handful of lovely people \u2014 primarily women; all very vocal about their desire for locally sourced goods and clean products; you know, a complete disuse of conventional pesticides and herbicides. Organics\u2026 if one eats meat; source of origin. All of which I completely applaud and I am very much a part of that community. I very much subscribe to that community \u2014 and then that same panelist pulling out a MAC lipstick or something that\u2019s chock full of lead and artificial chemicals and colors and preservatives, and it\u2019s like huh? It\u2019s great that we\u2019re talking about organics over here and how important that is to the planet, to the person,  and then did you know that over here is something that is completely not that and there\u2019s kind of in interesting fragmentation going on in your life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019m very passionate about what we do at CloudWalker Farms<\/a><\/strong>, and that we have a product offering we\u2019re looking to provide to the community. Offerings that, in many cases, we believe are healthier and better for you. A product that delivers better experiences. And, I\u2019m all for choice. I\u2019m all for anybody\u2019s ability to make a decision that fits their life and lifestyle and likewise in a business perspective. I\u2019m not here to harsh or rain on anybody\u2019s parade, I\u2019m just here to let y\u2019all know what CloudWalker\u2019s been up to over here in this corner with our sort of lenses and perspectives in creating and offering products that we think do a little better job in being sensitive and mindful of the planet, one\u2019s health, and certainly producing elevated effects.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
