How Do You Identify the Best Products to Sell in Your Dispensary Such as First Crop Gummies?

Betty Nugzs

Gummies and edibles, traditionally, haven’t been our best selling products. However, linking up with with will over that First Crop. We’ve actually seen more edibles. going out the door after we started selling those those products, and I put Will through the ringer, too, and said he wasn’t able to make the call. But you know I did to. I did to will the way I do to everybody, which is okay. Let me see the back. It says, solventless chemical, free organic, you know. Vegan live Rosin in that was the biggest one for me.

With solvent mass and and organic and and all that sort of thing that’s important to me. But one of the things that I I’ve seen a lot in the industry is some smoke and mirrors where somebody’s like, Yeah, these are Rosin and Gummies, or this is Rosin in this or that or the other. And when I do some digging because I typically know the manufacturers. I typically know the growers. The processors that I can reach out to to find out is this actually live Rosin in true solvent. I’ll tell you to be honest a handful of times it’s not.

Linking up with Will from First Crop, and checking out the first prop products. I baseline. I I buy products for my folks my Dad’s a Med patient. My mom’s a Rec. Patient. They need sleepy time products. They need clean products, especially at their age. You know, they’re at a retirement age. So some of the things I buy are specifically for my folks. And I’m not gonna buy my, my, my parents. Booth, you know, I’m not gonna get them a product that’s not healthy, and that’s not going to accomplish the goals that they need, which is sleep. maybe anti-inflammatory for arthritis and stuff like that. So I literally told, we’re if my Mom likes these gummies. Th, this is gonna be a great, this is gonna be a great relationship. So I gave it a test run. I tried the gummies. I liked them. I bought some, you know. They worked for my folks.

We see people loving them! We brought in First Crop gummies initially because I am friends with Will and I like the people behind the brand. We like to use our company to help support good people and build community. Once he showed it to me. I’m like, well, it’s packaged well, it’s very, very well formulated, and as time went on we fell in love with the First Crop team and products. They are the perfect example of a company that cuts no corners. They have a high, high level of integrity! They don’t compromise on anything, for instance we sell them Rosin that already has quality assurance testing.

But they test it again before they mix it into their product, and then they test their end product again to make sure that they mixed it right? And so they’re sourcing every ingredient of their products with that same level of discernment and taking nothing for granted. They buy rosin from us and several other companies that all have really good offerings. I was sitting down with them the other day because they’re having great success with a retailer and they have a pretty sizable grow with rosin production. But since the other grow is not regenerative and not using living soil, they use synthetic salt based nutrients which it grows really great plants with. But for the highest level of sustainability and all those things it needs to be to be right for First Crop.

They’re uncompromising in that effort or this company that’s a great retail partner for them which also has amazing rosin at really good prices would be their preferred vendor over us but that is not the case.

We appreciate the commitment to the sustainability standard that the company has set forth.

Even when they could cut their input costs by 50%, if it means compromising on their mission, they don’t do it, and that to me is inspiring. First Crop is a brand that we can fully get behind.

Sometimes it’s things are awesome from the outside. But then, the longer you’re close to it, you start to see the cracks, and with with First Crop. It just seems like the trajectory that they’re on, that they, like us, believe an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. And so they’re not trying to make a quick dollar and then fix the problem later. They’re truly setting a standard and not willing to compromise on that. And so I think that’s gonna be a driving factor in their success as this industry normalizes and becomes a national market. They’re going to be well positioned.

The company, the ethos, and the end product being a highly medicinal gummy like speaks to that. When you taste it, when you feel it. You’re like, Okay, this is so full of goodness that you know its doing something for me that is a benefit. We see a high level of return customers once they try First Crop gummies

Once customers have that trust in us and they’re comfortable in that space. Then we make sure to show them First Crop because they are uncompromising in their morals and ethics and because it works every time.

The product works, and it works so well that at lower dosages that many are able to get the same effects that they get from a distillate gummy with ⅓ of the THC. There’s some great distillate gummy companies on the market but once you have the full spectrum experience it’s not even comparable in regards to medicine. Infused candy has its place and I do still enjoy them from time to time. But for medicating there really is not a competing product.

I use 20 to 30 milligrams of the leading distillate infused gummy that we carry in the store. Whereas with a First Crop, I don’t need more than one, which is 5 milligrams of THC + 5 milligrams of CBD + all of the other synergistic full spectrum herbs that are in their formulations.

They have such medicinal benefit that we don’t see a lot of people moving back once they try First Crop gummies. They have a little higher price point on a per bag basis. But when you realize that you only need ⅓ of the amount of cannabinoids that you were actually using when it’s a full spectrum product you realize you’re actually spending less money at the end of the day. This keeps your tolerance lower which leads to more long term savings.

With First Crop products such as Sleep I don’t need to take one every night during stressful periods., Ill maybe take them for 2 nights in a row but because my body rests and recharges versus just passing out. This is harm reduction because it reduces the likeliness of it becoming a mindless habit. We really preach mindful use here at Lava Leaf because over and over we see cannabis which is a sacred herb with amazing healing potential get misused, and that misuse reduces its medical benefit.
